Located at the intersection of the Brenner motorway (north\u2013south axis) and the Serenissima motorway (west\u2013east axis), as well as the corresponding railway lines, Verona’s Quadrante Europa Logistics Hub covers an area of 2,500,000 sqm, with planned expansion to 4,200,000 sqm.<\/span><\/p>\n

This integrated infrastructure system, designed and developed by Consorzio ZAI under a detailed development plan approved by the Veneto Region, is directly connected to Verona Villafranca Airport.<\/p>\n

Italy’s leading hub in terms of combined transport volumes, Quadrante Europa is recognised as one of Europe’s foremost intermodal logistics hubs.<\/p>\n

It serves as a strategic hub for national and international road, rail and air freight transport. In particular, it handles international freight flows to and from Central and Northern Europe via the Brenner route, traffic to and from France and Spain, and freight movements to and from Eastern European countries.<\/p>\n

Every year, more than 8 million tonnes of freight are transported by rail<\/strong> and 20 million tonnes by road<\/strong> through the logistics hub. In the future, the hub is expected to be connected to the Milan\u2013Cremona\u2013Mantua\u2013Legnago\u2013Rovigo\u2013Po di Levante inland waterway and maritime canal system.<\/p>\n

Quadrante Europa offers a comprehensive, integrated range of logistics services designed to deliver the highest standards of efficiency and cost-effectiveness, complemented by intermodal transport solutions involving swap bodies, semi-trailers and containers. It can therefore be described as a Logistics Park hosting more than 120 companies<\/strong> and 13,000 employees<\/strong>, both direct and indirect.<\/p>\n

Verona’s logistics hub can rightly be regarded as a single, integrated logistics infrastructure supporting production and bringing together three main categories of operators: manufacturing companies, or shippers; freight forwarding companies; and logistics operators.<\/p>\n

Quadrante Europa connects different modes of transport (rail, road and air), consolidates freight flows and provides access to European transport corridors. Fully connected through a telecommunications network, it offers operators data, voice and image transmission services, as well as access to international databases. It also provides high-quality logistics services.<\/p>\n
