Access Control and Security

Verona’s Quadrante Europa Logistics Hub is committed to ensuring the security of the entire facility through the continuous monitoring of access and exit points, buildings and personnel. Advanced, regularly updated monitoring systems and procedures enable companies operating within the hub to manage their activities efficiently while maintaining high standards of on-site security.

The Freight Forwarding Centre occupies a fully fenced area, with a main gate featuring three entry lanes and three exit lanes. A secondary gate is also available, reserved exclusively for the exit of light vehicles.

All lanes are equipped with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and On-Board Unit (OBU) technology. These systems enable automated video surveillance and access authorisation, monitoring vehicles entering and leaving the facility. They also allow companies to monitor and authorise the entry and exit of their own vehicles.

The main access gate features six lanes — three for entry and three for exit — and is equipped with 20 cameras. This infrastructure helps improve traffic flow in both directions and facilitates access to all warehouses and services within the logistics hub.

A new, fully automated exit gate on Via Gumpert is also in operation, with remote monitoring and supervision.

A 24/7 surveillance system, supported by a network of more than 100 cameras positioned at strategic locations throughout the logistics hub, further enhances on-site security.

A dedicated gate for emergency vehicles provides an additional level of security for employees working at companies across the logistics hub.

Verona’s Quadrante Europa Logistics Hub manages its security processes in accordance with the international standard IEC 60839-11-1:2013, Security Grade Level 3 (Alarm and Electronic Security Systems).
